Babylonia processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you, but only if you have provided this to us in one of the documents submitted for translation:
- Religion or lifestyle details
- Health details
- Criminal records
- Personal data of persons under the age of 16: documents provided by you may contain data of persons under the age of 16. We assume that you, as a parent or guardian, give permission for processing by providing the documents.
- National ID
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Babylonia processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To make translations of the documents containing this data, as provided by you.
- To send translations.
- To create an invoice.
How long do we store personal data?
Babylonia does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Sharing personal data with third parties
Babylonia does not sell your data to third parties and only shares them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a sub-processor agreement with parties that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Babylonia remains responsible for these processing operations.

Babylonia only uses technical and functional cookies, and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and ID number black in this copy, to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.
